National Vision Administrators, Inc. (NVA) administers the Trust's vision coverage. NVA is one of the largest managed care companies in the United States. They have developed a plan to raise vision care to a higher level of efficiency by capitalizing on cost efficiencies, buying power and a national network.
NVA maintains a national network of eye care providers from its headquarters in East Hanover, N.J. While 97% of insureds use a participating provider, a reimbursement schedule allows insureds to use non-participating providers and still obtain benefits. For insureds located outside of Wisconsin, the national network works in the same manner as if they were in Wisconsin.
